Berwick-upon-Tweed, also known as Berwick-on-Tweed or simply Berwick, is a town and civil parish in the English county of Northumberland. It is the northernmost town in England, located 2 12 miles (4 kilometres) south of the Anglo-Scottish border. Berwick’s population was 12,043 according to the 2011 United Kingdom census.
