When their parents passed away in the 1930s, William and Walter Straw inherited Mr. Straw’s House, the family residence of the Straw family. The home remained untouched until the National Trust bought it and allowed visitors access to it in the 1990s. South of Worksop, there is a public country park called Clumber Park that is also owned by the National Trust.
Additionally, close to the town centre lies the old church known as Worksop Priory.
Isaac Charles Gilbert created the first Worksop Town Hall, a corn exchange that opened in 1851.
