Get in contact with Gutter Maintenance Stapleford
Here at Gutter Maintenance Stapleford, we are aware that many Scottish homes, as well as those in the north of England, still have the cast iron gutters and downpipes that are associated with older homes. When these break down or rust, they can be replaced with pipes and gutters that look identical but are constructed of uPVC.
Homes that are well looked after will always retain and increase their value so why not take a look at the full list of property maintenance services we can deliver. All of our Gutter Guys are trained and they have full insurance cover to work on any building.
History in Stapleford
The beginnings of Stapleford may be found prior to the Norman Conquest. The Stone Cross, a Saxon structure said to be the first Christian structure in the Midlands, is located in the churchyard of St. Helen’s church. As the town developed into a hub of commerce, Stapleford’s growth can be partially attributed to its proximity to the Rivers Trent and Erewash. A staple town is, according to the antiquarian John Weever, “a location, to which by the prince’s power and privilege wool, skins of beasts, wine, maize or grain, and other exotic or foreign merchandise are transported, brought or conveyed to be sold.”
